The 2018 Fall Foliage Festival will take place on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street in Winsted between Union Street and Case Avenue.
Attendees of this popular annual event will discover more than 50 exhibits provided by local artisans, businesses, and community organizations, as well as food trucks and live music and other demonstrations. The north (westbound) side of Route 44 will be blocked off from automotive traffic and filled with booths and entertainment of all kinds.
“This year’s festival will feature musical entertainment by Jim Moore, The Klerks, and Michael Hodorsky & Co.,” says Lauren DiMauro, Executive Director of Friends of Main Street, the non-profit organization that organizes the Festival. “Also live broadcasting by radio station WZBG, dance and karate demonstrations, as well as a professional magician. And there’s still time for exhibitors to reserve a booth. Don’t miss it!”
The Fall Foliage Festival is sponsored by Northwest Community Bank, R & M Insulation, Klebe Fuel, William P. Ryan, DMD, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Noujaim’s Bistro, and West State Mechanical.
